On June 14th, the “Ancestor Project: Goddesses” reception will include a short film unveiling and more short screenings by Indonesian, Pakistani, and Indian-Jamaican artists.
Born in Djibouti and raised in England, Warda’s multidisciplinary practice spans visual art, theatre, poetry, painting, and puppetry, engaging with themes of home, sexuality, identity, and displacement.
This Westin Harbour Castle exhibit will run until June 30th, and admission is free.
