We are pleased to announce, “The Welcome Group Program – Matching Volunteers with Refugee Newcomers for Social Support,” a national project with support from IRCC that will scale the Welcome Group Program with our partners, Multicultural Agency of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) in Moncton, IRCOM in Winnipeg, ISSofBC in Vancouver and TD Bank Group. 

This project aims to scale a successful volunteer-based social support program, recognized as a best practice for engaging community members in the integration of refugees. The project will build upon the significant knowledge and expertise gained through delivering and evaluating the program from 2021-2024, enabling Together Project to scale it in collaboration with three settlement sector partners in three distinct regions of Canada and a major corporate partner.
