Frontlines – Low-Cost Summer Camp on Weston Road
Between July 7-August 15, children aged 6-12 can enjoy a summer camp at 1831 Weston Road filled with games, sports, STEM activities, trips, and more. Camp costs $100/week.
Jane-Finch Early ON – Free Pedalheads Bike Camp
Between July 7-August 15, children aged 5-8 can attend a free one-week summer camp at the Jane-Finch Mall. Bikes and helmets are provided.
Afghan Women’s Organization – Sports-Focused Summer Camp
From July 2-July 25, 10:00-4:00, children aged 4-15 can join a sports-focused summer camp featuring soccer, badminton, volleyball, and more with the Afghan Women’s Organization. This is open to girls and boys, and is geared towards newcomer children and youth.
North York Community House – Free Etobicoke Teen Summer Camp at Richview Library
From July 14-August 21, 9:30-3:00, teenagers aged 14-18 can meet at the Richview Library for free meals and TTC tickets, art and games, and a chance to get volunteer hours. This is a free program.
Culturelink – Free Baseball & Art Summer Camps
From July 7-11 and August 11-15, newcomer children aged 8-12 can attend a free baseball & art camp at 3535 Dundas Street West, Toronto. Free snacks, creative art, team building, baseball coaching, and more. Provided in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation.
Scadding Court Community Centre – Summer Camp
From June 30-August 22, 9:00-5:00, children aged 5-12 years old in downtown Toronto can join a camp at the Scadding Court Community Centre, 707 Dundas West. It costs between $115-$170/week, and before/aftercare is available for an extra $10.
West Neighbourhood House – Summer Camp
From June 30-August 22, children aged 6-12 can join a full-day summer camp from $44-$110/week, with subsidies available. The camp takes place at Pope Francis Catholic School, 319 Ossington Avenue, and will include arts, sports, a talent show, and more.
Malvern Family Resource Centre – Multiple Summer Camps
This summer, children in Scarborough and Markham can join special programs just for them! With Kinder Camps (children born in 2021), Tiny Campers (children born in 2020), Variety Camps (ages 5-10), Tween Camps (ages 11-13), and Sports Camps (ages 6-12), there is something for everyone. Camps range in price from $120 to $225, and subsidies may be available.
Polycultural – Summer Camp for Newcomer Children in Scarborough
From July 14-August 22, children aged 6-12 can enjoy field trips, games, arts, computer time, and more. It costs $60/week or $320 for 6 weeks, and takes place at 3660 Midland Avenue, Suite 500, Scarborough.
Strides Toronto – Life Skills Summer Program for Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder
From July 28-August 22, Scarborough-based youth aged 12-18 on the autism spectrum can enjoy the AYCES life skills and activity program. It costs $250/week and will take place at 184 Galloway Road for 4 weeks.
Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization – Ottawa’s Great Summer Quest Camp
From July 7-August 21st, Ottawa newcomer youth aged 12-18 can enjoy missions, field trips, games, cooking, and more with OCISO staff. It costs $25/week, and takes place at 1800 Bank Street.
Active Newcomer Youth Ottawa – Summer Camp
For $50/week this summer, youth aged 8-15 can play sports at the Rideau Community Hub. The camp happens from 10:00-6:30, Monday to Friday. Spaces are limited to 12 spots; sign up soon!
